PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

Genesis believes that time off is important in our industry. We offer PTO to full time positions that work non-overnight schedules. Overnight DSPs will be eligible for PTO after one year of employment. Direct Support Professional and non-exempt employees working 40 non-overnight hours a week will earn two weeks of PTO per year.

ALTERNATIVE WORK SCHEDULE

Genesis also offers Overnight Direct Support professionals a schedule of working 7 days on and 7 days off, which provides individuals the opportunity for time off from work. Overnight Direct Support Professionals must work one year before being eligible for PTO.

Morning Differential

With our Morning Differential, we like to say thank you if you are picking up or being scheduled for a two-hour morning shift, Monday – Friday, by paying an extra $2.00/hr.

Competitive Pay:

Our DSP positions pay a range of $13-$18 per hour, depending on experience and which position/location is being filled.

MEDICAL LEAVE BANK

This optional benefit is available to full time employees. It allows an employee to set-aside hours in an account that can be used for extended absences causing hardship due to medical reasons. Genesis Group Homes believes we should make assistance available to members of our team during difficult times.

Paid Training:

Paid at the regular rate of pay.

Birthday Bonus   

Our gift to you is a $50 bonus to say Happy Birthday and we appreciate you sharing your special day with us!

Employee Referral Bonus:

An employee that refers a job applicant to our organization may be eligible for up to a $600-$1000 bonus if that person is hired. Distributions are made at 90, 180, and 270 days after the referred individual starts and retains employment.

Training Bonus:

Employees can be eligible for a $250 Training Bonus!

PTO SHARE

Medical issues and/or other challenges that life can throw at us can cause hardship. Full-time employees experiencing hardship and do not have enough PTO to cover their lost time may be eligible to receive PTO donated by co-workers.

Holiday Pay:

Employees that work company designated holidays receive pay at time and a half.

Mileage Reimbursement:

Genesis has company vehicles at many of our sites. For sites where no company vehicle is available, Genesis provides reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle at .42c per mile.

Leave to Volunteer

Genesis Group Homes supports volunteer programs.  Employees with 5 years or more of service may apply for a paid 5-day leave of absence in order to participate in charitable events and activities. Corporate responsibility and an individual's passion can be a perfect mix to feel good and do wonderful things.

401k retirement & savings Plan  

Genesis Group Homes matches every dollar for the first 1% contribution and fifty percent for the next 5% contribution.
