Genesis Group Homes offers residential care to developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals in stable and well-supervised residential homes and apartments located throughout the northwest of Hennepin County. Our motivation in founding Genesis Group Homes was that every person deserves a chance for a new beginning. Whether that new beginning entailed transitioning out of their parent's home or coming from a previous placement, we wanted this home to be a fresh start.  We designed homes with the philosophy that we would not expect anyone to live in a home that we couldn't see ourselves living in or that parent(s)/ guardian(s) couldn't see themselves living in as well. Envisioning yourself being comfortable and happy in a home is a priority. Where you hang your hat is important! At Genesis Group Homes, we advocate life's changes with residential homes that address some of life's most difficult challenges with outcome-based services.
