Program Information

Genesis Group Homes provides superior, professional care tailored to support individuals with increasing their independence. We are committed to providing quality care to meet each individual's unique needs. We recognize the dignity of the individuals we serve, and always respect their individual rights. We strive to help the individuals enjoy as much self-sufficiency as possible, in the least restrictive and functional environment, and with the best combination of developmental support and personalized attention. At Genesis Group Homes, we promote social relationships, community inclusion, and active participation in our homes. We always strive to maintain a proper balance between safety and opportunities for every individual in our care.

We operate multiple Adult Foster Care (AFC's) facilities as well as several Individualized Housing Options (IHO's) in the northwest metro area of Minneapolis. We also serve as a crisis home provider through our affiliation with the Metro Crisis Coordination Program. These homes provide a variety of living arrangements designed to meet the variety of individual needs. We offer supervision tailored to each individual's needs as well as flexible behavioral support through care plans that are continuously modified to meet changing needs of the individual.

The homes are located in Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Crow Wing, and Sherburne Counties. Genesis Group Homes serves the Twin Cities Metro and Central MN areas, including the communities of Anoka, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Osseo, Maple Grove, Fridley, Dayton, Becker, Zimmerman, Mounds View, East Bethel, Brainerd and Corcoran.
