Experience: A person is not defined by their disability but as who they are as a person. I have been serving people for 5 years in group homes. I have helped a lot of people improve their quality of life. I love what I do and don’t consider it work. To my daughter she knows I leave for “work”, but when you ask her what I’m doing she will tell you “Mommy’s helping people”. Building rapport with the people I serve is the centerpiece of what I do. People don’t just let you into their lives, you must earn it. Being a part of Genesis guarantees the lives I serve are full of meaning and purpose.

If you could time travel, when would you go?  If I could Time travel I would go to Paris in the Belle Époque​. It is a period in history of the city between the years of 1871-1914. It saw the construction of the Eiffel Tower, the completion of the Paris Opera and the first motion picture was projected during this time.
