Experience: 18 years of working with individuals. 10 of those years have been with Genesis. I kind of fell into this field due to being friends with a girl who lived next door to me growing up. While in high school I was asked to join a group that she was in to help her have more friends at school. Because of her and how much fun I had in this social interaction group I went to school to become a nurse, about 2 years in I got a job working at a group home and the rest is history.  I look forward to many more years learning and growing with Genesis. 

What do I like most about my job? I love that I am helping people. There is no greater joy then being able to say that I helped someone today. Also love being in the supportive roll for the Supervisors and staff that work at the houses that I oversee. & I like the paperwork, I thrive on it, but please do not tell my boss that, they might ask me to do more. Also really enjoy the classes I train for the company. CPI is a really enjoyable class to teach and I like the feed back that I get from the staff who have taken it. 

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?  It would be my family and friends. There is nothing better then catching up on everyone's lives, laughing, having a great time & enjoying an amazing meal. My family & my friends are very important to me & spending time with them always cheers me up for months at a time.
